From:
Martha.
Question:
I have a Keurig 2.0 and today when turned on it showed preheating on the screen and started pumping cold water, about three cups, then stopped and turned off. It repeats this every time it is turned on. It will not exit the preheating phase and will not stop pumping water until about three cups, then off. Help? It is less than a year old. I am contacting Keurig.
Response:
The inability of a 2.0 brewer to get itself out of the pre-heat phase and into the next stage of making a coffee is becoming more common in the problems we hear about from our readers.
Quite rightly Martha is getting in touch with Keurig customer service and so should be receiving a brand new 2.0 machine as a replacement shortly. Even with problems less severe than what Martha describes, never put up with a brewer causing you problems while still under warranty. Get onto Keurig and get a new machine sent out.
Update: August 31, 2015
We heard back from Martha today and she was pleased to let us know that Keurig are sending her out a new brewer.
