From:
Pam.
Question:
My Keurig 2.0 has stopped brewing. I did the vinegar clean out and tried it afterwards but it still wont work. I bought my Keurig from QVC in November 2014. I registered it also. My registration [removed]. I would like to receive a new Keurig 2.0 in place of the one that is not working. I enjoy my Keurig but do not wish to try to “troubleshoot” the problem. That is not my job. I would appreciate a replacement. Thank you
Response:
Pam is quite right in wanting to use the warranty that her new Keurig is covered by. By calling Keurig Customer Service on 1-866-901-BREW (2739) they will send out a new machine to Pam. All she will need is her serial number, which she has, and as Pam has already registered the brewer online with Keurig the replacement machine should be out to her in no time.
As we have mentioned numerous times on our site, and Pam restates it for us, if your brewer is still covered by their warranty, always insist on a new machine rather than attempting any repair to troubleshoot the issue you are trying to resolve. This is not only something you shouldn’t have to do but also any work you do attempt will invalidate the warranty.
We have an article that goes through the general points of a Keurig warranty, which is worth a read through if you haven’t been through the “fine print” before.
We trust Pam has her new machine shortly and is back making great coffee again. Oh just one final point, we actually don’t have anything to do with Keurig Green Mountain Coffee. We are just ordinary Keurig users like all of you out there, and we run this site to provide a little help along the way. We would love to be sending out new Keurig’s to our readers, but earnings off this site amount to about a cost of a cup of coffee.
