Keurig B31 – Partial Cup Brewing

Photo of the air tube being placed back on the air pump

From:

Steve.

Question:

Seems to be partially clogged somewhere, but hard to tell. I can hear the pump working and the water heats up but then only barely drips out.  I did the vinegar rinse which seemed to work for one cup, maybe two, but then clogs returned. I also used the paper clip method to clean the needles. Water also seems to be leaking out the base of the unit – wondering if there is hose disconnected or loose inside the tank? Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Sincerely, Steve in Alaska

Major Power Issue With Keurig

Unplugging your Keurig is important for this procedure.

From:

Dimitre.

Question:

Recently we got Keurig 45 Elite. When we plug to the power I noticed spark from the socket. I measured with an ohm-meter the machine power cord and found that the circuit was connected – which means that inside the circuit is on all time, even with the power button not turned on. The machine was replaced with a Keurig 350 – which did not produce a spark when you plugged it in, but after measuring with an h it also indicated connection (the resistance was slowly dropping down which indicates that some of the electronic was on all the time). By federal safety rules the device shall be completely disconnected by the power button. IN case there is a connection (as explained) when the device is off, this may cause overheating and possible fire. Can anyone explain what is going on.

Photo of a Keurig 2.0 on display stand

From:

Martha.

Question:

I have a Keurig 2.0 and today when turned on it showed preheating on the screen and started pumping cold water, about three cups, then stopped and turned off.  It repeats this every time it is turned on.  It will not exit the preheating phase and will not stop pumping water until about three cups, then off.  Help? It is less than a year old. I am contacting Keurig.

Keurig Coffee Brewer is Leaking

Photo of the tubes being reattached to a B60 water pump

From:

Kim.

Question:

My Coffee Brewer is leaking all over my counter all day.  I have even tried to turn off the power when we went away for the weekend and came home to water all over the counter and floor.  I have probably owned my Keurig for two years, so it is not under warranty. I am thinking of replacing it but I hesitate to buy another Keurig.
